Dark, Brilliant, and Loud Trailer Arrives for ‘Buzzard’
Writer/director Joel Potrykus (Ape) may have invented a new genre with his latest film Buzzard: indie horror metal slacker comedy. The film originally premiered last year at SXSW to audiences that raved about its originality. After recently revealing new poster art (see below), Oscilloscope Laboratories offers the first video of Buzzard with today’s trailer debut. The film stars Joshua Burge as a small-time con artist who exploits his position at a local bank for monetary gain and outright entertainment. It’s an honest and hellish look at the struggles of the American working class. Often funny, sometimes hard to watch, but always compelling no matter how uncomfortable Buzzard gets. Our review of the film will arrive closer to its theater and digital release date of March 6, 2015, but watch the trailer below in the meantime.
