2015 Stanley Film Festival Awards Announced
Deemed one of the “scariest Film Festivals” around, The Stanley Film Festival announced its award winners the 4 day horror retreat. The festival takes place every year at the haunted The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado, the property which inspired Stephen King to write The Shining, and is produced by the Denver Film Society. This year The Stanley Film Festival lineup included over 20 feature films, 6 classic titles, and 18 shorts. Winner of the Audience Award this year went to Todd Strauss-Schulson’s The Final Girls, a horror film about a group of friends that find themselves trapped in an ’80s slasher flick.
