I really do not think you understood where Meris was coming from in the start of the film. She seems to have anxiety issues and they even show that she has some sort of medication. Mitch’s friends say things that someone who is depressed would really take poorly.

I think you missed the point here. We watched this because of the description of “black humor”, which this movie certainly achieved. The stereotypes and cliches were obviously glaring, but they were supposed to be. Reviews like this one are obnoxiously too all-knowing. It’s just your opinion dude.
