I really liked Another Earth. Not a great film by any means but very very poetic. Nice little film. I personally want Refn to win Director so he can give one of his awesome speeches he seems to always pull out of his you know what. Out of those choices I’d say Martha Marth May Marlene is the best film. Very unsettling movie

There is not a Best Original Score category at the Independent Spirit awards like there is for the Oscars. Maybe their reasoning is a lot of indie films don’t have a budget for an original score? Not sure.

I’m sorry but MMMM should be cleaning up these awards. Hands down better than The Descendants which is barely indie
